The Default Output Device feature is intended to perform at it's best in combination with the new User Presets feature in 4.4 software release. For that reason, we have introduced a brand new automation logic to the system output device selection with Systemwide 4.3.
Switching between multiple monitoring devices can be a bit of a hassle and can often take a lot of clicking around to switch over.
